Located in western Wyoming, the Bridger-Teton National Forest offers more than 3.4 million acres of public land for outdoor recreation enjoyment. Caribou-Targhee National Forest
The Caribou-Targhee National Forest is made up of two separate forests. Together these forests occupy over 3 million acres and stretches across southeastern Idaho, from the Montana, Utah, and Wyoming borders. Popular activities here include camping, hiking, wildlife viewing, horse and mountain biking riding, hunting, fishing, and bird watching. There are also vast opportunities for winter and water related recreation.
