| | Fort Ebey State Park - Surfing | | The park is a 645-acre camping park on Whidbey Island, and it was originally built as a coastal defense fort in World War II. Concrete platforms mark the gun locations. The park has three miles of saltwater shoreline on the Strait of Juan de Fuca, a freshwater lake for fishing, and miles of hiking and biking trails. There are two large fields that will accommodate sports activities, but there are no nets or field-markings. |

Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest in Washington extends over 140 miles along the western slopes of the Cascade Mountains from the Canadian border to the north boundary of Mt. Rainier National Park. The forest provides hundreds of accessible lakes, rivers and streams, and ample opportunities for hunting and fishing, river rafting, bird watching, mountain climbing, berry picking and general sightseeing. |

| | Old Fort Townsend State Park - Boating | | This is a 367-acre marine camping park that features 3,960 feet of saltwater shoreline on Port Townsend Bay. The heavily wooded park has a rich military history dating from pioneer days. Activities enjoyed in the park include camping, picnicking, enjoying scenic views, boating, nature walks and historic walks. Old Fort Townsend has 40 standard camping sites, each with a table and fireplace. |

| | South Whidbey State Park - Swimming | | If guests wish to hike there is a 3.5-mile hiking trail. Fishing is a popular activity within the area. Fish that are common to the area include: salmon, steelhead, crabs, clams, and shellfish. Whale watching has become an extremely popular activity as well. Bird watching in the area is abundant. Many different species include Chukars, Crows or Ravens, ducks, eagles, geese, grouse, gulls, hawks, herons, hummingbirds, ospreys, owls, quail, woodpeckers, and wrens. Whidbey Park has also become a very popular place for hunting. Prime animals that are available during hunting season are; chipmunks, coyotes, deer, elk, fox, otters, rabbits, raccoons, and squirrels. |

| | Wenberg State Park - Water Skiing | | This is a 46-acre camping park with 1,140 feet of freshwater shoreline on Lake Goodwin in Snohomish County. The park offers good fishing and a variety of other water activities. Located north of Seattle, the park provides urbanites weekend access to forested recreation without the necessity of lengthy travel. The park has two boat ramps and 20 feet of handling dock. |
