Museums

Ilwaco Heritage Museum - Local
The museum's purpose is to preserve and interpret the heritage of the Columbia Pacific region, including the lower Columbia River and adjacent coastal areas of southwestern Washington and northwestern Oregon.

Westport Maritime Museum - Local
The museum building was built in 1939 to serve as the Coast Guard's Lifeboat Station, Grays Harbor. The Colonial Revival structure served that role until 1972 when a new station was built several blocks to the South. The Maritime Museum opened in the 1939 building in 1985. Exhibits in the main building include The Coast Guard on the South Beach, Cranberry Growing, and Life on the Edge of the ocean. There is also a Children's Discovery Room that is hands-on ways to learn about the ocean and marine life.
