Centennial Trail State Park
Recreation offered at the Centennial Trail State Park includes fishing, hunting, horse rental, and swimming. The park consists of a paved trail meandering along the Spokane River and extending from Nine Mile Falls to the Idaho state line. The trail is punctuated with 42 historical and archaeological sites, most of which remain to be marked.

Mount Spokane State Park
This is a 13,919-acre camping park in the Selkirk Mountains. The view at the top of the 5,883-foot elevation includes surrounding states and Canada. The forested park features stands of old-growth timber and granite rock outcroppings. In winter, the park receives 300 inches of snow.

Riverside State Park
This is a 10,000-acre camping park along the Spokane and Little Spokane rivers in Eastern Washington. The park supports a wide variety of recreational activities and is rich in history. Freshwater marshes, running rivers and beautiful countryside make up the terrain. The park offers one kitchen shelter with electricity and two without electricity, plus 10 sheltered and 122 unsheltered picnic tables. This park features a 600-acre off-road vehicle riding area for dirt bikes and snowmobiles, as well as 37 miles of hiking along the Centennial Trail and many more miles on other trails.
