Alta Lake State Park
Recreation includes picnicking, camping, bird watching, hiking, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, fishing, scuba diving, boating, water skiing and swimming. Average summer temperatures are 94 degrees maximum and 50 degrees minimum. Because central Washington is landlocked and subject to winter winds, winter temperatures are much colder than those in western Washington.

Bridgeport State Park
The park has 7,500 feet of fresh water shoreline that provides area for swimming, boating, fishing and water skiing. The Park offers sightseeing, including a 1/4 mile trail leading to an observation point.

Concoy State Park
The park is an 81-acre camping park with 5,400 feet of freshwater shoreline in north central Washington. Established as the oldest Bureau of Reclamation irrigation project in this part of the country, the park dates back to 1910. State Parks assumed administration in 1945. The park is considered a fisherman's paradise, this park offers camping and boat launches on two lakes.

Fort Okanogan State Park
This is 45-acre day-use park set on a bluff overlooking the Columbia River. The park has 1,000 feet of "high" freshwater shoreline, but no beach accessibility. The park is located along the shores of Lake Pateros.

Osoyoos Lake State Park
is a 47-acre camping park on a 14-mile-long lake that stretches several miles north into British Columbia. Located in the midst of a hot and arid environment, the park provides welcome respite with its sandy shores, green lawns and shade trees. The park features a war veteran's memorial. Visitors with fishing licenses may fish for smallmouth bass, rainbow trout, kokanee and numerous other fish species. The park has a bathhouse near the lake for swimmers. A 9-hole golf course, a basketball court and baseball, softball and soccer fields are located nearby. Ice fishing and ice skating are available in the winter. The park has two boat ramps and 40 feet of dock.

Pearrygin Lake State Park
This is a 578-acre camping park in the Methow Valley in north central Washington. The park features expansive green lawns leading to 8,200 feet of waterfront on Pearrygin Lake. The lake offers swimming, fishing and boating. Old willows and ash provide shade on hot summer days. The park has a boat ramp and 60 feet of dock.
