| Crystal Mountain is located in the shadow of 14,408-foot Mt. Rainier, just outside of the Mt. Rainier National Park. Just inside of the Wenatchee National Forest, it is famous for the cold Cascade storms that can dump several feet of fresh snow anytime from November through April.Although expert skiers are attracted to the area for its rugged terrain and deep snow, less advanced skiers should not be intimidated.
