Walupt Lake Campground is located in lush conifer forest and is adjacent to Walupt Lake. There is a boat ramp on site. Supplies are 21 miles away at Packwood. Road is narrow with sharp curves. Large vehicles should take caution. There are a total of 42 sites with a maximum spur of 40 feet.

Facilities: Walupt Lake Campground provides restrooms, drinking water, picnic tables, and a camp host.

Reservations: Reservations are accepted for Walupt Lake Campground.

Best Time To Visit: Walupt Lake Campground is open June through September.

Fees: A camping fee is charged.

Accessibility: This campground is handicap accessible.

Rules: The maximum stay is 14 days.

Directions: To reach Walupt Lake Campground from Yakima, start out going north on South 2nd Street toward East Yakima Avenue for less than 0.1 miles. Turn left onto East Yakima Avenue for less than 0.1 miles. Turn right onto North 1st Street for 1.6 miles. North 1st Street becomes ramp for less than 0.1 miles. Merge onto US-12 West for 17.3 miles. Turn left onto US-12 for 54.2 miles. From Packwood, go south on US Highway 12 for 2 miles to primary forest route 21. Go southeast on 21 approximately 15 miles to forest route 2160. Go east on 2160 approximately 4 miles.
