Taneum Campground is in a mixed forest setting near Taneum Meadow on Taneum Creek. Fish and swim in the creek. Supplies available at Cle Elum. Campground borders the Lt. Murray State Wildlife Area where many types of wildlife can be seen. Campers may gather firewood. Many trails in the area. There are a total of 14 sites.

Facilities: There are no facilities provided at Taneum Campground.

Reservations: Reservations are not accepted for Taneum Campground.

Best Time To Visit: Taneum Campground is open May through September.

Fees: A camping fee is charged.

Accessibility: This campground is not handicap accessible.

Rules: The maximum stay is 14 days.

Directions: To reach Taneum Campground from Yakima, start out going north on 1st Street for 1.5 miles. Enter on ramp to US-97 North for 0.3 miles. Continue on US-97 North for 30.3 miles. Exit on ramp to I-90 West for 1.4 miles. Continue on I-90 West for 25.5 miles. Exit onto off ramp at exit 84 to Oaks Avenue for 0.2 miles. Turn right onto Oaks Avenue for 0.4 miles. Turn right onto 1st Street West for less than 0.1 miles. From Cle Elum, go south on forest route 3350 approximately 10 miles.
