Silver Fir Campground is a group campground is adjacent to the North Fork of the Nooksack River. Enjoy fishing for trout in the river. Hike to Heather Meadows, a scenic high alpine area. Campground is busy weekends and holidays. Wildlife includes deer, elk, bald eagles, mountain goats and keep an eye out for black bears. Campers can gather supplies in Glacier. There are a total of 21 sites with a maximum spur of 77 feet.

Facilities: Silver Fir Campground provides restrooms and a camp host.

Reservations: Reservations are accepted for Silver Fir Campground.

Best Time To Visit: Silver Fir Campground is open May through September.

Fees: A camping fee is charged.

Accessibility: This campground is handicap accessible.

Rules: The maximum stay is 14 days.

Directions: To reach Silver Fir Campground from Bellingham, start out going northeast on J Street toward Ellsworth Street for 0.1 miles. Turn left onto Girand Street for less than 0.1 miles. Turn right onto Broadway for 0.3 miles. Turn slight left onto Sunset Drive for 1.8 miles. Sunset Drive becomes WA-542 for 32.3 miles. Turn left onto Vaughn Avenue for less than 0.1 miles. From Glacier, go northeast on state highway 542 approximately 11 miles.
