Sherman Creek flows through beautiful scenery from the Kettle Range to the Columbia River (Lake Roosevelt). Highway 20 parellels this stream through most of its length. This section of Highway 20 is designated as a scenic byway. In addition to fishing, visitors come to view outstanding fall foliage display as well hunting and camping in this portion of the forest.
