The San Poil River is a small river that lies primarily within private and Colville Indian Reservation lands. Approximately 2.5 miles of the river lie within NFS lands and access is available along this area. This portion of the river flows through an alluvial valley that has been historically cleared of much of the large timber. Visitors that come to the river also camp in addition to fishing. Elevations of 2000-2100 feet.
