Rock Island Campground is set in a mixed forest setting at the confluence of Icicle Creek. Fish and swim in the creek. Supplies are available at Leavenworth. Deer, bears and birds are common to the area. Campers may gather firewood. Trail onsite runs along Jack Creek into the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. There are a total of 22 sites with a maximum spur of 22 feet.
