Rainbow Campground is a great site for group camping as it is private with exclusive use of the campground. Enjoy many recreation opportunities in the area. The Rainbow Canyon Trail is at the far side of the campground. The trail provides a short hike to the Big Quilcene River. A picturesque waterfall is on the left about halfway down to the river. There is fishing in the river. Within the group site itself there are 9 sub-sites that can house tents, and smaller RVs and trailers.
