Quartz Mountain Campground is a tent only campground situated in a mixed forest setting near the Manastash Creek. Supplies located at Ellensburg. Numerous animals can be viewed in the area. Campers may gather firewood. Campground is a trailhead for trail that runs along the South Fork of the Manastash Creek. There are a total of 3 campsites.

Reservations: Reservations are not accepted for Quartz Mountain Campground.

Best Time To Visit: Quartz Mountain Campground is open May through September.

Fees: No fees are charged.

Accessibility: This campground is not handicap accessible.

Rules: The maximum stay is 14 days.

Directions: To reach Quartz Mountain Campground from Yakima, start out going north on 1st Street for 1.5 miles. Enter on ramp to US-97 North for 0.3 miles. Continue on SU-97 North for 30.3 miles. Exit on ramp to I-90 West for 1.4 miles. Continue on I-90 West for 0.2 miles. Exit onto off ramp at exit 109 to Canyon Road for 0.1 miles. Take Canyon Road ramp for 0.4 miles. Turn right onto Canyon Road for 0.8 miles. Continue onto Main Street for 0.9 miles. From Ellensburg, go west on primary forest route 31 approximately 21 miles to forest route 3100. Go west on 3100 approximately 7 miles. 4 wheel drive recommended.
