Pleasant Valley Campground is set in a mixed forest setting on the American River. Fish for trout in the river. Supplies available at Cliffdell. Abundant wildlife in the area. Campers may gather firewood. Trail on the Kettle Creek in the William O'Douglas Wilderness. Union Creek Falls are nearby. Restored Civilian Conservation Corps picnic shelter in campground. There are a total of 16 sites with a maximum spur of 32 feet.

Facilities: Pleasant Valley Campground provides restrooms, drinking water, picnic areas, garbage service, and picnic areas.

Reservations: Reservations are not accepted for Pleasant Valley Campground.

Best Time To Visit: Pleasant Valley Campground is open May through October.

Fees: A camping fee is charged.

Accessibility: This campground is handicap accessible.

Rules: The maximum stay is 14 days.

Directions: To reach Pleasant Valley Campground from Yakima, start out going north on 1st Street for 1.5 miles. Enter on ramp to US-12 West for 0.3 miles. Continue on US-12 West for 12.6 miles. Bear right onto Naches Road for 0.1 miles. Continue onto Naches Avenue for 0.1 miles. Turn right onto 2nd Street for 0.1 miles. From Naches, go north on state Highway 410 approximately 38 miles.
