Museum of History and Industry, opened on February 15, 1952, has grown to become the largest private heritage organization in the State of Washington, attracting more than 60,000 visitors annually from the Northwest and beyond. MOHAI collects preserves and presents the rich history of the Pacific Northwest. Its engaging exhibits and programs have created an appreciation for the Northwest's diverse cultural, social and economic history. Some of the museum's exhibits are " Affordable Housing", "Brushes with history" and "Boom Town" Some of the programs are School Museum, The early Seattle Story, and Hands-on history.

Directions: To reach Museum of History and Industry from Seattle, take I-5 toward State Route 520 (exit 168B); Exit at Montlake Boulevard; Go straight at stoplight, and continue one block to 24th Avenue East. Turn left into the museum's driveway. Follow road to parking lot.
