Mayfield Lake is a popular destination for water sport enthusiasts, so the officials of the lake ask that you guests play it safe and learn the boating and watercraft rules before entering. Visitors are encouraged to take a day to play at Mayfield Lake Park. Some of the park's features include a swimming beach, boat launch, playground, horseshoe pits and volleyball court. Pull out your picnic basket and enjoy lunch along the lakeshore, where you'll find plenty of picnic tables. Or seek shelter from the sun. People seeking a classic camping experience will enjoy the quiet surroundings at Mayfield Lake Park. Whether you choose to relax in a woodsy setting, enjoy a beautiful lake view or camp right next to the lake at a waterfront site, you'll fall in love with the peaceful park. There are 54 individual campsites at the lake. They are primitive without utility or water hookups. Fire rings and picnic tables accompany the abundant campsites as well. While camping the birds here like to perch in the trees above the tents. This is a relaxing way to brush up on bird watching skills. Birds here include hawks and eagles. Other wildlife tends to graze along the shores of the lake as well.

Directions: To reach Mayfield Lake start out going west on 11th Ave SE toward Washington St SE. for 0.1 miles. Turn left onto Capitol Way S. for 0.1 miles. Turn left onto 14th Ave SE. for 0.4 miles. Merge onto I-5 S toward Portland for 36.8 miles. Take the US-12 E exit- 68 toward Yakima for 0.2 miles. Turn left onto US-12. Continue to follow US-12 for 16.1 miles. Turn right onto Winston Creek Rd. for 1.0 mile. Turn right onto Klub Dr. for 0.3 miles. Turn right onto Lakeview Dr N. for 0.1 miles. End at Mayfield Lake.
