Marcus Trail #8 is a steady climb to Kettle Crest, this trail follows an old jeep trail for the first 1.5 miles. Views of mountains and valleys, wildlife, seasonal wildflowers and wild strawberries. This trail is 3.53 miles with elevations ranging from 4750 to 6580 feet and is considered to be difficult.

Facilities: There are no facilities provided at Marcus Trail #8.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted for Marcus Trail #8.

Best Time To Visit: Marcus Trail #8 is open spring, summer, and fall.

Accessibility: This trail is not handicap accessible.

Directions: To reach Marcus Trail #8 from Colville, start out going west on WA-20 toward US-395 for less than 0.1 miles. Turn right onto US-395 and continue to follow for 12.2 miles. Turn left onto WA-20 for 39.9 miles. From Republic, follow state Route 20 for 13 miles to Forest Service Road 2040. Follow road 2040 north to road 250. Follow road 250 for 1.5 miles to trailhead.
