Lincoln Rock State Park

Lincoln Rock State Park is an 80-acre camping park on the east side of Lake Entiat, created by Rocky Reach Dam blocking the flow of the Columbia River north of Wentachee. The park, a popular place for swimming, water-skiing and respite from the hot sun, was named for a basalt outcropping said to resemble the profile of Abraham Lincoln. The park offers 27 standard sites, 32 full hookup sites, 35 sites with water and electricity, 80 picnic sites, 1,240 feet of freshwater moorage space, three boat launches, 2.75 miles of road, 1.3 miles of paved trails, four comfort stations, a bathhouse, a trailer dump, playground equipment, an amphitheater, three picnic shelters, two tennis courts, one multi-use court for paddle ball, handball, and basketball, horseshoe pits, two sand volleyball courts, a multipurpose field with baseball backstop and soccer goals, and a swim beach. A wide range of recreational activities are offered at the park. They include hiking, camping, picnicking, fishing, boating, water skiing, jet skiing, sailing, sailboarding, swimming, playground activities, bicycling, roller skating, tennis, basketball, volleyball, soccer, softball, horseshoes, and cross-country skiing. Large grassy fields invite a variety of team sports. The park has three boat ramps and 632 feet of dock. Personal watercrafts are allowed. The lake has 650 feet of moorage includes five small floats along the shore for overnight campers, first-come, first-served.

Facilities: Lincoln Rock State Park provides restrooms and campsites.

Reservations: Reservations are accepted for Lincoln Rock State Park.

Best Time To Visit: Lincoln Rock State Park is open during the summer from 6:30 a.m. to dusk. The park is closed October 18 and reopens March 11.

Fees: Moorage and campsite fees are charged.

Accessibility: Handicap accessibility is provided.

Rules: Check-in time for campsites starts at 2:30 p.m. Check-out time is 1 p.m. Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

Directions: To reach Lincoln Rock State Park from Wentachee start out going northwest on S Columbia St toward E Orondo Ave. from 0.1 miles. Turn left onto Orondo Ave. for 0.1 miles. Turn right onto WA-285 N. Continue to follow WA-285 N. for 1.4 miles. Turn slight left onto WA-285 N. for 1.9 miles. Merge onto US-97 N toward WA-28 for 0.3 miles. Take the US-97-ALT ramp toward Entiat for 0.4 miles. Turn left onto US-97 ALT. Continue to follow US-97 ALT for 5.4 miles. Turn left onto Swakane Rd (Portions unpaved) for 0.1 miles. End at Lincoln Rock.
