Lake Ellen can be found in a setting of low dry hills of sagebrush and timber. It has a primitive boat launch. You can enjoy fishing, camping, swimming, and canoeing. Elevation is at 2340 feet.

Facilities: Lake Ellen provides a boat launch and nearby camping.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted for Lake Ellen.

Best Time To Visit: Lake Ellen is open spring, summer, and fall.

Fees: No fees are charged.

Accessibility: This lake is not handicap accessible.

Rules: Do not litter. A valid Washington state fishing license is needed to fish within the National Forest.

Directions: To reach Lake Ellen from Colville, start out going west on WA-20 toward North Main Street for less than 0.1 miles. Turn right onto North Main Street and continue to follow for 8.4 miles. The lake is approximately 13 miles Southwest of Kettle Falls off Highway 20.
