Lake Ellen Campground is set in a mixed forest setting of pine, fir and larch on Lake Ellen. Fish for rainbow trout in the lake. Boat launch located at the campground. Supplies available at Kettle Falls. Deer, bears and squirrels are common to the area. No designated trails in the area. There are a total of 16 sites with a maximum spur of 22 feet.
