Iron Creek Campground is located in lush, old growth conifer forest along Iron Creek. Good fishing. Nice place to camp for those visiting the east side of Mount St. Helens. Supplies at Randle, 10 miles away. Buy firewood on site. Creek side barrier free trail surrounds campground. Amphitheater on site. There are a total of 98 sites with a maximum spur of 45 feet.


Facilities: Iron Creek Campground provides restrooms, drinking water, a picnic area and a camp host.

Best Time To Visit: Iron Creek Campground is open May through September.

Fees: A camping fee is charged.

Accessibility: This campground is handicap accessible.

Rules: The maximum stay is 14 days.

Directions: To reach Iron Creek Campground from Longview, start out going north on 15th Avenue toward Broadway Street for 0.1 miles. Turn slight right onto Washington Way for 0.7 miles. Washington Way becomes West Cowlitz Way for 0.6 miles. Turn left onto North Pacific Avenue and continue to follow for 0.8 miles. Merge onto I-5 North via the ramp on the left for 27.5 miles. Take the US-12 East exit-EXIT 68 toward Morton for 0.1 miles. Turn right onto US-12 for 48.4 miles. From Randle, go south on primary forest route 25 approximately 10 miles. Easy RV parking.
