Half Moon Lake is 6.25 miles Northeast from Cusick at the head of the Halfmoon Creek. It was originally also called Moon Lake or New Moon Lake. Elevation is at 3250 feet.

Facilities: Half Moon Lake provides nearby camping.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted for Half Moon Lake.

Best Time To Visit: Half Moon Lake is open spring, summer, and fall.

Fees: No fees are charged.

Accessibility: This lake is not handicap accessible.

Rules: Do not litter. A valid Washington state fishing license is needed to fish within the National Forest.

Directions: To reach Half Moon Lake from Colville, start out going northeast on WA-20 toward North Oak Street and continue to follow for 35.9 miles. Turn right to stay on WA-20 for 30.6 miles. Turn left onto West 5th Street for 0.4 miles. The lake is located off Highway 20 South at Usk, take the bridge over the Pend Oreille to 3389. Half Moon Lake is on Forest Road 5030 off 3389.
