The Frater Lake Trail system includes a series of loop trails. The 1.8 Tiger Loop follows the southern and eastern shores of Frater Lake. A clockwise travel direction is suggested for the steeper 4.8 mile Coyote Loop. The 2.8 Lake Leo Trail and the 1.7 Lions Tail Trail are shorter loops. A picnic area and warming cabin are located near Frater Lake. The cabin is open all year and is available for overnight stays limited to two nights. This trail is 10 miles long with elevations of 3180 to 3400 feet and is considered to be easy and difficult, depending on the parts.

Reservations: Reservations are not accepted for Frater Lake Trail #150.

Best Time To Visit: Frater Lake Trail #150 is open year-round.

Fees: No fees are charged.

Accessibility: This trail is not handicap accessible.

Directions: To reach Frater Lake Trail #150 from Colville follow state Route 20 for 29 miles east to Frater Lake. From Newport travel state Route 20 north to Tiger and continue 6 miles west to the trailhead.
