Excelsior Group Campground is adjacent to the North Fork of the Nooksack River. Enjoy fishing for trout in the river. Campers can gather supplies at Seattle. Hike to Heather Meadows, a scenic high alpine area. The campground is busy weekends and holidays. Wildlife includes deer, elk, bald eagles, and mountain goats. Keep an eye out for black bears. There is 1 group site with a maximum spur of 30 feet.

Facilities: Excelsior Group Campground provides a camp host.

Reservations: Reservations are accepted for Excelsior Group Campground.

Best Time To Visit: Excelsior Group Campground is open May through September.

Fees: A camping fee is charged.

Accessibility: This campground is not handicap accessible.

Rules: The maximum stay is 14 days.

Directions: To reach Excelsior Group Campground from Seattle, go north on I-5 to Bellingham. Take exit 255 off state highway 542. Go past Glacier for 7 miles. The campground is located on the North Fork of the Nooksack River.
