Edds Mountain Trail #3 begins with 3 miles of rocky, fairly steep trail. The trail contours the south slopes of Edds Mountain before dropping into a saddle and crossing the south slopes of Bald Mountain. Dramatic views, wildlife, and seasonal wildflowers are found in this remote section of the Kettle Crest. This trail is 4.2 miles total with an elevation of 5050 feet and is considered to be a difficult trail.

Facilities: There are no facilities provided at Edds Mountain Trail #3.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted for Edds Mountain Trail #3.

Best Time To Visit: Edds Mountain Trail #3 is open spring, summer, and fall.

Fees: No fees are charged.

Accessibility: This trail is not handicap accessible.

Rules: Do not litter.

Directions: To reach Edds Mountain Trail #3 from Colville, start out going west on WA-20 toward US-395 for less than 0.1 miles. Turn right onto US-395 and continue to follow for 12.2 miles. Turn left onto WA-20 for 39.9 miles. From Republic travel 6 miles east on state Route 20 to Hall Creek Road 99. Follow Hall Creek Road for 4.4 miles to Forest Service road 300. Continue on road 300 for 3.5 miles to trailhead. A four-wheel drive vehicle recommended for the last two miles.
