Early Winters Campground is set in an old growth pine forest setting on the Early Winters Creek. Fish and swim in the creek. Supplies available at Mazama. Deer, bears and birds are common to the area. Campers may gather firewood. No designated trails nearby. There are a total of 13 sites with a maximum spur of 24 feet.

Facilities: Early Winters Campground provides restrooms.

Reservations: Reservations are not accepted for Early Winters Campground.

Best Time To Visit: Early Winters Campground is open April through November.

Fees: A camping fee is charged.

Accessibility: This campground is not handicap accessible.

Rules: The maximum stay is 5 days.

Directions: To reach Early Winters Campground from Okanogan, start out going southeast on Norman Street for less than 0.1 miles. Turn right onto 2nd Avenue North for 0.1 miles. Continue onto 2nd Avenue South for 0.9 miles. Continue onto WA-20 for 53 miles. Bear right onto Lost River Road for 0.3 miles. The campground is located approximately 2 miles west of Mazama off of state highway 20.
