Diobsud Creek Trail #631

Diobsud Creek Trail #631 is maintained each spring by Sierra Club Volunteers. It follows the northeast side of Diobsud Creek and ends just above a 200-foot scramble down to the creek. Primarily a fisherman's trail, it also makes a good early season hike. Fishing within the National Forest requires a Washington State fishing license. This trail is 1.5 miles one-way and is considered to be more difficult. Elevations start at 600 feet with a gain of 900 feet.

Directions: To reach Diobsud Creek Trail #631 from Bellingham, start out going northeast on J Street toward Ellsworth Street for less than 0.1 miles. Turn right onto Ellsworth Street for 0.3 miles. Turn left onto C Street for 0.1 miles. Turn right onto Halleck Street for 0.2 miles. Halleck Street becomes Ohio Street for 0.5 miles. Merge onto I-5 South for 22.4 miles. Take the WA-11 North exit-Exit 231-toward Burlington for 0.2 miles. Turn right onto Chuckanut Drive and continue to follow for 0.1 miles. Chuckanut Drive become North Burlington Boulevard for 0.3 miles. Turn left onto WA-20 and continue to follow for 4.2 miles. Turn right onto West State Street for 0.8 miles. From Sedro-Woolley, follow State Route 20 east for 39.0 miles to the community of Marblemount. Four miles east of Marblemount, turn left on Forest Service Road #1050. The trailhead is located 2.0 miles from Highway 20 on the left side of the road. Parking is limited.
