During snow season Deer Creek Summit North Loop Trail is an excellent cross-country ski route for skiers with intermediate skills. After the snow melts the trail becomes a broad mountain bike route. A maintained campground is located adjacent to trailhead. This trail is 5.12 miles with and elevation at 4600 feet and is considered to be easy to difficult depending on the part.

Directions: To reach Deer Creek Summit North Loop Trail from Colville, start out going west on WA-20 toward US-395 for less than 0.1 miles. Turn right onto US-395 and continue to follow for 12.2 miles. Turn left onto WA-20 for 39.9 miles. From Republic follow state Route 21 to Curlew and take county road 602 east to Boulder-Deer Creek Summit.
