Crystal Lake Trail #638 enters old-growth forest and comes out at the 20.8-acre Crystal Lake, elevation 4800 feet. Trees, meadows and grassy marshland give access to all around the lake. There are numerous camp sites nestled among the trees. This trail is not maintained for livestock. This trail is 2.5 miles long and is at elevations between 2500 and 4500 feet.
