Cooks Lake can be found on the South side of Cooks Mountain and it varies to very small in dry periods. Elevation is at 3075 feet.

Facilities: Cooks Lake provides nearby camping.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted for Cooks Lake.

Best Time To Visit: Cooks Lake is open spring, summer, and fall.

Fees: No fees are charged.

Accessibility: This lake is not handicap accessible.

Rules: Do not litter. A valid Washington state fishing license is needed to fish within the National Forest.

Directions: To reach Cooks Lake from Colville, start out going northeast on WA-20 toward North Oak Street and continue to follow for 35.9 miles. Turn right to stay on WA-20 for 30.6 miles. Turn left onto West 5th Street for 0.4 miles. Situated 5.2 miles Northeast from Usk, Cooks Lake can be easily found by following 20 to Forest Road 3389 to 3407.
