Chewelah Mountain Trail designed for cross-country skiing and mountain biking, is maintained by Forty Nine Degrees North Ski Area. Most trails are located on Chewelah Mountain and connect with roads that link back to the ski lodge on Flowery Trail Road. Summer access to trails through existing roads. This trail is 12 miles long with elevations of 5740 to 3840 feet and is considered to be difficult.

Facilities: There are no facilities provided at Chewelah Mountain Trail.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted for Chewelah Mountain Trail.

Best Time To Visit: Chewelah Mountain Trail is open summer, fall, and winter.

Fees: No fees are charged.

Accessibility: This trail is not handicap accessible.

Rules: Do not litter.

Directions: To reach Chewelah Mountain Trail from Spokane, start out going north on North Lincoln Street toward West Main Street for less than 0.1 miles. Turn right onto West Main Street for 0.6 miles. Turn left onto US-2 East and continue to follow for 46.9 miles. From Newport follow state Route 20 north for 15 miles to the intersection with Flowery Trail Road. Turn west on Flower Trail and follow signs to 49 Degrees North Ski Area (18 miles), then follow signs to nordic trail parking area.
