Carl's Lake has a rather marshy shoreline and contains rather large amounts of organic matter. It includes a lagoon at the West end. Elevation is at 3411 feet.

Best Time To Visit: Carl's Lake is open spring, summer, and fall.

Accessibility: This lake is not handicap accessible.

Rules: Do not litter. A valid Washington state fishing license is needed to fish within the National Forest.

Directions: To reach Carl's Lake from Colville, start out going northeast on WA-20 toward North Oak Street, and continue on WA-20 for 35.9 miles. Turn left onto WA-31 for 4.0 miles. This Lake is located just 5.5 miles South of Ione.
