Ballard Campground is set in an old growth pine forest setting on the Methow River. Fish and swim in the river. Supplies available at Mazama. Deer, bears and birds are common to the area. There are a total of 6 sites with a maximum spur of 20 feet.

Facilities: Ballard Campground provides restrooms.

Reservations: Reservations are not accepted for Ballard Campground.

Best Time To Visit: Ballard Campground is open April through November.

Fees: A camping fee is charged.

Accessibility: This campground is not handicap accessible.

Rules: The maximum stay is 5 days.

Directions: To reach Ballard Campground from Okanogan, start out going southeast on Norman Street for less than 0.1 miles. Turn right onto 2nd Avenue North for 0.1 miles. Continue onto 2nd Avenue South for 0.9 miles. Continue onto WA-20 for 53 miles. Bear right onto Lost River Road for 0.3 miles. The campground is located approximately 9 miles northwest of Mazama on county route 1163 (forest route 5400).
