Atkinson Flat Campground is located in a mixed conifer forest setting on the Chiwawa River. Fishing is available on the river. Supplies are available at Plain. Visitors may see black bears and deer in the area. Visitors may gather firewood locally. The campground tends to be very busy on weekends and holidays. Glacier Peak Wilderness Trail is located near the campground. Hiking on the trail is available. The maximum spur is 30 feet long. There are 7 single sites available at the campground.
