Atkinson Flat Campground is set in a mixed conifer forest setting on the Chiwawa River. Fish is accessible in the river. Supplies can be purchased at Plain. Wildlife in this area includes black bears and deer. Campers may gather firewood. Campground is busy on weekends and holidays. Hike in the nearby Glacier Peak Wilderness. Northwest Forest Pass required. There are a total of 7 sites with a maximum spur of 30 feet.
