The entire Arch Rock Trail is within the Norse Peak Wilderness. At the south end of Echo Lake, the western end of the trail crosses the Greenwater River at milepoint 0.1 and heads north around the east side of Echo Lake. At mile point 0.3 junction east side of trail around Echo Lake and campsite. At this point, the trail starts to climb very steep grades. At mile point 2.4 there is a campsite and creek. This trail is 3.1 miles one way and is considered to be more difficult. Elevations start at 3900 feet and go up to 5950 feet. Visitors can hike and horseback ride on this trail.
