Visitors may see black bears and deer in the area. Visitors may gather their firewood locally. This campground tends to be very busy on weekend and holidays. Hike and horseback trails are located near the campground and lead to Minnow Ridge. Horse facilities are available. The maximum spur is 30 feet long.
