Delta lies within Millard County, the third largest county in the state of Utah. Attractions in Delta include: Fort Deseret, the Great Basin Historical Society Museum, and the Topaz Museum.
The Gunnison Bend Reservoir offers many recreation opportunities including water skiing and personal watercraft sports. There is also bass and catfish to tempt anglers.
