At Powder Mountain Resort there's a difference between snow from heaven and artificial snow. Purists prefer Ogden's Powder Mountain Resort, where only genuine, fallen-from-the-sky Utah powder graces the steep slopes. Known for its' gold medal terrain and excellent snow, Powder Mountain is a prime winter and summer destination.
During the summer months, mountain biking and hiking are also available throughout its' slopes.

Unbeatable runs and great snow conditions characterize Powder Mountain. This mecca for intermediate and advanced-level snow enthusiasts offers great open terrain, only 10% of the resort's slopes are reserved for beginning skiers. Acres and acres of exclusive, untracked powdered slopes through Lightning Ridge and spectacular expert terrain through Paradise Lift give skiers the downhill and backcountry adventure of a lifetime.
The legendary Utah powder is only one of the reasons skiers flock to these slopes. Powder Mountain offers excellent snowcat skiing, heliskiing and guided tours ranging from serene to the extreme.
Located just northeast of Ogden, Powder Mountain has over 86 runs with various levels of expertise, most of which ranges from intermediate to advanced.
With 5500 acres of powdered slopes, Powder Mountain offers tons of shreddable terrain. A snowcat provides a more exhilarating experience with a guided riding tour in Utah's backcountry. Best Time To Visit: Powder Mountain Resort is usually open from mid-November to mid-April depending on snow. Call ahead for snow conditions.

Fees: Use fees are charged. Additional fees may be incurred for the snowcat service, lodging, etc.

Rules: It is recommended visitors follow the 'skier's code. Obey all posted signs and warnings.

Directions: To reach Powder Mountain Resort from Ogden, take 12th St. east and follow the signs through Ogden Canyon to 8000 N. 5100 E.

From Salt Lake City take I-15 north to Ogden's 12th St. exit. Turn east and follow the signs through Ogden Canyon to 8000 N. 5100 E.
