Deer Valley Resort ranked #1 in North America by the readers of SKI magazine, is celebrating it's 25th Anniversary of operation for the season of 2005-2006.
Located 34 miles east of Salt Lake City, the resort features four mountains to suit skiers of all levels; Bald Eagle Mountain, Bald Mountain, Flagstaff Mountain, and Empire Canyon.
Bald Eagle Mountain offers ideal terrain for the beginner and intermediate skier. A separate, protected beginners' area known as the Wide West is ideal for first-time skiers. This mountain was also the site of the freestyle mogul competition, slalom events, and freestyle aerial events in the 2002 Winter Olympics.
Bald Mountain, with an elevation of 9,400 feet, offers intermediate and challenging skiing along with spectacular views. For steeper, ungroomed trails and Utah's famous light powder, the Sultan and Mayflower areas are very rewarding.
Flagstaff Mountain offers intermediate and beginner ski trails, at an elevation of 9,100 feet with extensive gladed areas and access to Ontario Bowl.
Empire Canyon, elevation 9,570 feet, has a family ski area, offering skiing for all abilities. Eight chutes and three bowls make for some of the best intermediate and advanced skiing at Deer Valley Resort.
