Located in Arches National Park, Skyline Arch Trail leads to a large arch beginning on the main road at Skyline Arch parking area. It leads one half mile round trip to Skyline Arch. The trek takes approximately 10 to 20 minutes along a flat, well-defined trail.
This easy 0.4 mile trail gains 40 feet in elevations and receives heavy use.
On a cold November night in 1940, a large chunk fell out of this arch, instantly doubling the size of its opening.
