Located within Arches National Park, Park Avenue Trail leads through a canyon lined with formations in the Entrada sandstone resembling skyscrapers. The route begins at Park Avenue Viewpoint along the park road. From this point it descends into a canyon lined with Navajo Sandstone. The trail follows the wash as it cuts to Courthouse Towers Viewpoint. Many hikers have a shuttle retrieve them from Courthouse Towers. The hike back to the trailhead includes a 320-foot ascent out of the canyon. This is an easy 1-mile trail. It gains a total of 600 feet in elevation and takes about 30 to 60 minutes to complete.
