Located within Canyonlands National Park, Mesa Arch Trail begins from Main Island Road a short distance north of the Grand View Road junction. It leads eastward from the trailhead gaining elevation slightly before reaching the arch. From the mesa edge the track loops northward then turns westward leading back to the road. The entire loop is one half mile in length and takes approximately 30 minutes to complete.
