Double O Arch Trail

Located in Arches National Park, Double O Arch Trail begins from the Devils Garden Trailhead and leads two miles to the arch. It passes spur trails to Tunnel Arch, Pine Tree Arch, Landscape Arch, Navajo Arch and Partition Arch in route to Double O. Beyond the Landscape Arch spur the trail becomes more challenging as it crosses sandstone fins with some exposure. Follow cairns to Double O Arch. A trail brochure is available at the parking area. This trail gains a total of 380 feet in elevation and receives heavy use. This moderately difficult 4-mile trail takes about 2 to 3 hours to complete.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted for Double O Arch Trail.

Best Time To Visit: Early spring is the best time to hike Double O Arch Trail.

Directions: Double O Arch Trail is located within Arches National Park. The entrance to Arches is located 5 miles north of Moab along Highway 191. From the Main Park Entrance, follow the park road 18 miles to its end at Devils Garden Trailhead.
