Double Arch Trail

Located in Arches National Park, Double Arch Trail lies in the Windows District of Arches National Park. It follows a sand-covered path to the base of Double Arch, two large rock spans connected at one end. The trail is one half mile round-trip with little elevation gain. The trail receives heavy use and takes about 15 to 30 minutes to complete.

Facilities: No facilities are provided at Double Arch Trail.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted for Double Arch Trail.

Directions: Double Arch Trail is located within Arches National Park. The entrance to Arches is located 5 miles north of Moab along Highway 191. From the Main Park Entrance, drive 9 miles northward along the park road to Balanced Rock parking area. Turn right at Balanced Rock and drive 3 miles to the Windows Parking Area. Parking is available on both sides of the road as it forms a loop to return to Balanced Rock.
