Located in Arches National Park, Desert Nature Trail lies beside the Arches Visitor Center at the main entrance to the park. The trail winds through plant communities common in the park along a .2-mile loop. An interpretive brochure, available at the trailhead, provides information about plants adaptations to the extreme weather of the high desert.
This trail gains less than 100 feet in elevation. The trail receives heavy use and takes about 15 to 30 minutes to complete.
