Delicate Arch Viewpoint Trail

Located in Arches National Park, Delicate Arch Viewpoint Trail is a wheelchair accessible 500-foot long path. It leads from the end of Wolfe Ranch Road to an excellent viewpoint south of the arch. From the end of the graded hiking trail a more primitive route leads northward to the rim of a canyon that contains Delicate Arch. There is no access to the arch from this trail. It takes about 10 to 15 minutes to complete this easy, 0.25-mile trail. The trail gains 140 feet in elevation and receives heavy use.

Best Time To Visit: Early spring is the best time to hike Delicate Arch Viewpoint Trail.

Directions: Delicate Arch Viewpoint Trail is located within Arches National Park. The entrance to Arches is located 5 miles north of Moab along Highway 191. From the Main Park Entrance, drive northward along the park road for 11.7 miles to the Wolfe Ranch Road. Turn right and follow the road 2.8 miles to its end and the Delicate Arch Viewpoint Trail.
