Delicate Arch Trail
Hiking is allowed

Located in Arches National Park, Delicate Arch Trail is definitely one of the most strenuous in the park. It begins at the Wolfe Ranch parking area and climbs approximately 500 feet in one and a half miles to a basin that contains Delicate Arch.
The first half-mile of this route follows a path to a suspension bridge that crosses Salt Wash. The trail reaches slick rock and begins to climb steadily, as it follows rock cairns. The trail levels as it nears the arch and follows a rock ledge immediately before the arch comes into view. Bring plenty of water to complete this short trek.

Facilities: There are no facilities provided at Delicate Arch Trail.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted for Delicate Arch Trail.

Best Time To Visit: Early spring is the best time to hike Delicate Arch Trail. There is no shade along this route and hiking is not recommended during midday in summer.
