Temple Quarry Nature Trail includes an area that provided the granite for the construction of the Salt Lake LDS Temple in the 1800's. The trail is a paved path that meanders through the area with interpretive signs for visitors to read. A small amphitheater is located along the trail, near the restrooms.
This easy trail is just under a mile long. It gains 60 feet in elevation and receives frequent use. It takes about 20 minutes to complete the trail one way.
